MSU Alumni HSV/Decatur

This year the Huntsville/Decatur MSU Alumni Chapter decided to participate in an new charity event. The new charity event is the Walk to End Alzheimer's. It is taking place on October 1st. We have created an MSU Alumni team, and we are looking participates. The Georgia game is on the 1st, but for anybody who wants to participate, you can donate to the team's fundraising at the following link: http://2011Walktoendalz.kintera.org/huntsville/msualumni
From this link, you can also join the team and begin fundraising on your own. Any participate who raises $100 gets a t-shirt. For those who want to, we ask that you come out to walk one lap at Joe Davis Stadium any time between 9AM and 12PM with registration opening at 8:00 AM. There will be plenty of other activities and booths set up around the stadium.

We fundraise as part of Walk since this is such an urgent cause. The Alzheimer’s Association makes it easy with their donation tools. You can use a collection envelope to ask for donations at work, school, the gym – wherever you are, you’ll find someone with a connection to the disease who will want to help. Or, you can personalize your Walk Web page and use e-mails that are already written for you to ask for support.
